The M1300 was born in 1985 as the first model in the 1000s, a flagship model of running shoes. The 1300JP, which reigns as a particularly difficult-to-obtain model among the M1300s, has been reprinted once every five years since the first reprint in 1995 and has been sold out immediately after each release.
The bluish steel blue-collar upper, which is different from the usual gray, is imagined to be the best on asphalt and has an image of the taste of the east coast of the United States. It is a special color that can only be tasted with the new balance special model that has been inherited even after 35 years. In the 2020 model, the embroidery line of Shutan's "NB" logo was reproduced with the same 14 lines as the original, and it was produced by adding fine updates such as nubuck leather handled by long-established tanner Horwin Leather. The shoe box also recreates the design of the time, and comes with a hang tag of Horween leather and an original shoe bag.
